Each associate has many years experience in Information Technology, with significant hands-on experience in business systems development, technical network consultancy, network resource planning, Ranger implementation, Ranger training, e-Safety solutions, general IT training and project management. 

Lead consultant (Murray Hossack) left IBS Consulting services where he was a senior strategy consultant to form Kenton Maar having spent time prior to that at Cone Software, a web design and development agency as Chief Operating Officer, Micro Computing and networking experience was gained primarily at Clifton Reed Consultants (co-founder and technical director), a national PC and network integration reseller to local government, education and commercial sectors. This was preceded by time at NCR (CIMEG division), Racal Information Systems, Ferranti & Craig and Gestetner.

He is a fully trained Novell (CNE) and Microsoft (MCSE) Engineer specialising in messaging and communications.

Operational experience covers specifying and installing suitable hardware platforms from vendors such as HP, IBM, Compaq and NCR and integrating operating systems from OS/400 through UNIX to Novell and Microsoft NT/2008. Designing and implementing load balanced and clustered Microsoft Windows server solutions for database driven internet, extranet and intranet solutions.

He has successfully project managed many network rollouts, some to over 100 locations affecting several thousand users. All the projects were completed within time and customer budget constraints.

In addition he has developed end user and internal software training courses, installation and "Day to Day" operations manuals for customers to help simplify and expand usage of systems within an organisation.

In respect of network management and security he is a fully accredited premier partner and trainer for the Ranger suite of network management software and  regularly delivers training on this and associated products such as Microsoft operating systems (Windows NT and Windows 2003, 2008) and servers (exchange and ISA).

With his unique "down to earth" blend of business experience and IT ability Murray Hossack is an essential element in helping you develop a strategy and implement routines to more productively manage your IT resource.

Murray has also taken part in 10 Kilometre runs on behalf of Cancer Research and The Rainbow Trust Children's Charity.
